    • Do team members have to use their mobile devices or can they use their laptop/desktop still?

      Team-members can use the AppChat functionality via either and/or both, their mobile device (smartphone/tablet) or their laptop/desktop. We encourage every team member to download your App on their mobile device so they have that flexibility and benefit, and while sat at their computer, they can have a window open and use AppChat and see client data all from the ease of their normal working environment.

    • Does this replace email communication altogether?

      No, email is here to stay – just its usage continues to evolve. Email was originally designed as a better way of sending letters. Since then, it’s exploded, is ubiquitous and is used for many forms of communication that are at best inefficient and at worst, a disaster – such as transactional messages (back and forth instead of long-form information) and secure data that wants to be easily referenced in the future. MyFirmsApp, with its AppChat functionality, resolves all of that and allows each to play to their strengths; email for long-form communication where preferred, and AppChat for the daily/weekly transactional messages such as questions, quick answers, reminders, clarifications, updates etc. This is now clients preferred and existing behavior, with 98% of Adults using these online/App messaging platforms daily already.

    • How does this resolve the security challenges of Text/SMS and WhatsApp?

      SMS and WhatsApp carry inherent security risks at a technology level and operational one. Technically, you now have sensitive client information, data and messages on personal devices, using personal cell-numbers. WhatsApp does have some encryption beyond SMS, but neither are suitable for professional Firm usage. You are also able to ‘enable or disable’ AppChat access across all tiers of users with a simple toggle (the AppChat history and auditable trails remain secure and accessible). This gives you huge flexibility and comfort. Some firms prefer to have all client-facing staff as ‘Admin’ users so they can see and do all, as that is how they run their Firm generally across other systems. For those with discreet locations or team structures, then the ‘Account Manager’ level gives them the control and focus they need.
